to come of age, you must truly know yourself. you must take a journey into your own mind and plumb its deepest depths. you must face everything you find there, head-on. are you ready?

i imagine autologia as a metroidvania with some inspiration from psychonauts. the inside of a mind seems like such an evocative and fun option for the typical wide-spanning metroidvania environment. 

• "self-love" is the game's title theme. though the journey to self-knowledge is tumultuous, this track reminds you to treat yourself kindly throughout it.
• "on my mind" is an area exploration theme, that represents something complicated you are mulling over.
• "shadow boxing" is a boss theme. are you fighting your shadow self, or just punching empty air? maybe both in the end.
• "shrine of shared strength" is the theme for the scattered peaceful places in the world-mind where you can reach out to your loved ones in the world-outside for aid and guidance
